Epicentre is around 30 km ENE of Jalalabad and 140 km east of Kabul. Latest reports indicate that at least 2205 people have been killed, over 3640 more have been injured and several villages in the region close to the epicentre have been destroyed, the majority of which has occurred in Kunar province.
